Stress Management

In our increasingly busy lives, stress is becoming something that we are all too familiar with, rather than something that hits us occasionally.

We are now juggling longer work hours, greater workplace pressures, complex family lives, and busy personal schedules with everyone in the household going in different directions at the same time, and it’s no wonder many of us are on the verge of burnout all the time.

Many of us are experiencing a serious issue with our life balance. Being busy is fine. Having too much to manage, and being under tremendous levels of stress as a consequence, isn’t.

Excess stress can cause long lasting health issues, and stress related disease is on the rise.

Saying you are coping with stress, but not dealing with the underlying causes will not change your situation.

When you have your life in balance, so that there are appropriate amounts of time allocated for work, family, recreation and yourself, you will experience stress relief, better health and wellbeing and a better quality of life. You will also perform better and be more effective.

At Core Development, I understand that you can be driven to get yourself into stressful situations for many different reasons, some of which may stem from deeply rooted emotional issues.

You may feel a need to prove yourself by being successful at work and end up pushing yourself beyond any sustainable work practice. You may feel a need to present an image of a perfect family to the world, while the relationships within your family are fractured and fragile.

Core Development’s approach to Stress management is all about getting to the bottom of why you are stretched so thinly.

I help you work from the inside out, to better understand what motivates you to push yourself beyond endurance, so that you can change this and achieve a better and more sustainable life balance.
