Is It Time For A Change?
Have your attempts at therapy and self-healing fallen short of the mark? There must be a better way!
Core Development is a creative approach that often works when other forms of therapy haven’t been as effective as hoped.
Core Development is a learning process rather than a clinical treatment. It has evolved from my international counselling and psychotherapy practice and life experience over a 40-year career. It can be used on its own, or as an adjunct to other therapy modalities.
Core Development takes the view that symptoms that are often labelled in our society as ‘sick’ or ‘dysfunctional’ are in many cases the opposite – they are pathways to creating more fulfilling and successful lives.
Core Development offers:
- FACE-TO-FACE SESSIONS IN SYDNEY
- ZOOM AND PHONE SESSIONS WORLDWIDE
- Individual Counselling and Psychotherapy Beyond Labels
- Somatic(Body-inclusive) Psychotherapy Beyond Labels
- Counselling and Psychotherapy for Parents and Teenagers (together and separately)
- Couples Counselling
- Biodynamic (Psychotherapeutic) Massage
- Talks and workshops for groups and organisations
Here’s what some of my clients have to say:
“It’s hard to put into words what it has meant to find you and to have experienced the changes I have had.
I think the greatest gift you can give someone is your time and undivided attention and energy and that is what you have given me.
You have let me drive my own healing process and have created a very safe space in which to heal. I’m grateful to be able to continue to heal with your guidance and experience.”
Anna S., Sydney
“The time has come to say goodbye – and I would like to express my many thanks to you. Our journey started a while back. I was lost then and didn’t know who I was, where I was or which direction to take…
A warm and gentle hand found mine – saying: “It’s alright – we’ll make it….and we did!” Thanks to you; your support, guidance, encouragement, ability to listen, patience and belief in me – I have today found myself.
I have found love, life and strength and a trust in myself that I never thought possible. I still lose track now and again – but that’s alright and necessary to grow further and it does not scare me anymore because I know I can find my way back again if and when I want to.
Thank you so much my dear friend. I love you very much and wish you a good journey and the very best for the future. You will always be with me in my heart”.
Ann Britt, London
Life can be difficult sometimes.
Many of us experience stress, anxiety, depression, addictions, frustration or relationship difficulties.
It’s important to know that this does not necessarily mean that there is something wrong with you or that you are mentally ill.
These are all symptoms. You need to get to the underlying cause to create lasting and meaningful change.
You do not have to be mentally ill to benefit from this approach.
These feelings often arise because you do not fit into any of the boxes that you are expected to fit into. Your needs are not understood and they are not being met.
I do not look for what’s wrong with you.
I look for what needs to happen, what’s trying to emerge, what your next step needs to be, and how I can support you in taking that step.
My aim is to help you deal effectively with the challenges you are facing, so you can make your life and relationships more fulfilling.
I offer sessions for individuals, couples, parents and teenagers, and talks and workshops for groups and organisations.
