There Must Be A Better Way!
Have your attempts at therapy and self-development fallen short of the mark? Core development is a creative approach that offers an alternative that often works when other forms of therapy haven’t been as effective as hoped.
A learning process rather than a clinical treatment, core development has evolved from my extensive counselling and psychotherapy practice and personal experience over a 40-year career, and can be used on its own, or as an adjunct to other therapy modalities.
Core Development offers:
- Individual Counselling and Psychotherapy( face-to-face and phone)
- Somatic Psychotherapy
- Counselling and Psychotherapy for Parents and Teenagers(together and separately)
- Couples Counselling
- Talks and workshops for groups and organisations
Life can be difficult sometimes.
Many of us experience stress, anxiety, depression, addictions, frustration or relationship difficulties.
It’s important to know that this does not necessarily mean that there is something wrong with you or that you are mentally ill.
These are all symptoms. You need to get to the underlying cause to create lasting and meaningful change.
You do not have to be mentally ill to benefit from this approach.
These feelings often arise because you do not fit into any of the boxes that you are expected to fit into. Your needs are not understood and they are not being met.
I do not look for what’s wrong with you.
I look for what needs to happen, what’s trying to emerge, what your next step needs to be, and how I can support you in taking that step.
My aim is to help you deal effectively with the challenges you are facing, so you can make your life and relationships more fulfilling.
I offer sessions for individuals, couples, parents and teenagers, and talks and workshops for groups and organisations.
If you want guidance and support in dealing effectively with life’s challenges, and in being true to yourself in an environment or society that may not always share your priorities and values, call 02 9413 9794 or 0412 178 234.
